United for Family Values takes on dog track owners on education claims On January 18, United for Family Values held a press conference in front of the Miami-Dade School Board, disputing the claim by dog and horse track owners that expanding slot machine gambling at their facilities would benefit education in Miami-Dade County. UFFV Chairman Gary Johnson addressed the media, along with Chris Norwood, Vice Chair of the Commission on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys, and other supporters.
